A list of the classes:
Magician- Magicians are dangerous, they can call upon the powers of the earth and use them against you. It is costly to be one, but it may pay off. Closing the distance when fighting a magician will be costly, and running have the right spells and strategies.
Assassin- Master of the art of killing. Assassins can kill more ways than anyone else. They know poisons, stealth, and more. They can kill with anything, but they use concealed weapons, usually throwing weapons, so if they're seen, they can pretend they're civilians.
Thief- Similar to the Assassin, they are skilled in silence, however, they do not use their skills to kill, but to steal. They tend to grow rich faster, but they are hunted by the law. Being one is costly to ones one life as they will become the target of other thieves.
Soldier- A jack of all trades, master of none. Soldiers can use any weapon with effect, but aren't super skilled with any, a good class for beginners. They are perfect because they are expendable, it isn't hard to become one. A good one may take more training.
Knight-A highly trained warrior, the knight is trained to fight on horseback or on foot. They are skilled with large swords, maces of various types, and axes. They prefer a frontal assault, with heavy armor.
Archer-Archers the masters of range. Lethal at long range but only okay in hand to hand combat. This warriors favorite place to fight is any open area, mainly fields. Can kill with anything from rocks to arrows. Specialize in taking out large groups.
Doctor- The masters of medicine, Doctors don't need health potions to heal themselves, and can heal injured friends. Who wouldn't want a doctor on their side? People that don't want to have to look after another person maybe, because doctors are terrible at any kind of combat
Pirate- The king of the seas. No one goes into a Pirate's territory without consequence. Pirates prefer to use swords that are easy to handle on a rocking ship.
Swashbuckler- Similar to the Pirate, a Swashbuckler feels at home on the sea. However they also use the skills of a thief on land. They prefer to use anything that can cut through skin. They hate everyone who prefers land over the sea.
Sailor- An honest sailor. They feel at home on the sea and don't really fight at all, and if they do, it's from the safety of their ships. When threatened beware, this crafty person is skilled with knives and slings. If this sailor gets a hold of your back you are finished.
Commando- Commandos are masters of silence. Similar to the Assassin, they carry out missions behind enemy lines, but Assassins are only trained by the Government, whereas Commandos are trained everywhere. Commandos use any kind of weapon, but not poisons or sly things like that, as Assassins do, and Commandos aren't so much used for killing, as securing outposts.

Pilot- The pilot is the master of the skies. When they are up in the air, they are virtually unstoppable, however, when they are on the ground, they aren't skilled. They mostly use pistols, but they can handle rifles.
Medic- Keep you head down if your a medic, and stay out of the fight if you can help it, for medics are terrible at combat. However, no army can hope to win a battle without a fair number of them. They are the only units that can heal other characters.
Sniper- The sniper is someone who is silent and unseen until the bang. From afar they are unstoppable but if the enemy get close they are finished. Specialize at killing from a distance and disappearing almost as fast as they got there. They have almost infinite patience and eagle like vision.
Sailor- Sailors are the masters of the seas. They fight from their heavy battleships, or their small PT boats, or whatever ship they might be on. When confronted with someone bigger or more powerful than them they go out swinging, trying to drag everyone else to Davy Jones locker with them.
Engineer-Though not the best at fighting, Engineers are essential to any army with vehicles. Engineers are the only units that can fix vehicles. They tend to have the best armor, because they make it themselves, but they usually don't have the best weapons.
